Cora Hall Promoted to Human Resources Supervisor
Cora joined Raley's in 1998 as a Courtesy Clerk with Raley's 420 on Folsom Blvd. She worked her way up through the Floral and Customer Service Departments and in 2005, she was promoted to a Head Clerk at Raley's Fair Oaks 421. Two years later, Cora was promoted to the Support Center as an Associate III in the Benefits Department. In her new role as a Supervisor in the Human Resources Department, Cora will oversee the areas of pre-employment, new hires, leave of absence, file retention and unemployment.ĘCora reports to Payroll/Personnel Manager, JoAnna Askew Hill.

 
Debra Martin Joins Raley's as Vice President, Asset Protection
Throughout her career, Debra Martin has been responsible for developing and managing Loss Prevention departments, shrink control programs, awareness programs, technical aspects of loss prevention, safety and more. With 10 years of experience in retail store operations and 16 years in retail Loss Prevention, including grocers Harris Teeter and Winn Dixie, Debra brings her energy and sharp focus to Raley's in the pursuit of developing loss prevention programs to further reduce shrink. Now, as the new Vice President, Asset Protection, Debra oversees the Loss Prevention team, while expanding the department's scope to investigate causes of shrink. Using data and efficient process, Debra will partner with a variety of departments to further develop systems and will use measurement tools to protect our company assets. Debra reports to Treasurer, Rick Rae.

 
Sherry Rebstock Joins Raley's as Senior Manager, Project Management Office
Sherry Rebstock joins the Raley's Information Services team filling the role of Senior Manager in the Project Management Office. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Sherry has worked as a Project and Program Manager in Information Technology, Engineering and Development, and Software Implementation. Most recently, Sherry worked for IBM as a Supply Chain Management Project Manager implementing Enterprise Asset Management solutions for Fortune 100 companies. In her new responsibilities with Raley's, Sherry looks forward to overseeing the Information Services Project Management Office, working with our business users to ensure the successful delivery of our projects. Sherry reports to CIO, Eric Wilson.

 
Lisa Johnson Joins Raley's As Senior Manager, Employee Benefits
Bringing her 20 years experience in Human Resource management and generalist functions, Lisa Johnson joins Raley's. Most recently, Lisa worked at EDFUND, where she managed health and welfare benefits, 401(k), recruitment, compensation and HRIS functions. As Senior Manager, Employee Benefits, Lisa will manage the corporate health and welfare benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, COBRA, life insurance, long-term disability, and flexible spending accounts for employees covered by Raley's benefit plans. Lisa looks forward to providing comprehensive affordable benefit plans and quality customer service to employees, helping support our mission to be a place colleagues love to work. Lisa reports to Mike Barrett, VP Risk Management & Employee Benefits.

 
Jose Rosa Promoted to Category Merchant
With over 24 years of experience with Raley's, Jose Rosa has worked in a variety of capacities in Grocery and Drug departments in a number of stores, including Vallejo 307, Napa 319, Benicia 343, Fairfield 332 and Antioch 333. Most recently, he was the Store Director of Vacaville 344 for one year and prior to that he served as Store Director of Brentwood 336 for four years, where he led colleagues to earn Crew of the Year three consecutive times and safety records for operating two years accident-free. Now as a Category Merchant, Jose looks forward to building sales by securing products for our stores at the best prices possible while maintaining good communication with the stores. Jose reports to Ross Frederiksen, Director, Grocery Sales & Merchandising.

 
JoAnn Pingree Promoted to Senior Manager, Store Training
JoAnn Pingree joined Raley's 23 years ago as a Courtesy Clerk. She held positions such as a Bookkeeper, Journey Clerk, and Head Clerk before going to work at the Support Center for the next 13 years. JoAnn has held positions including Pre-employment Coordinator, Communications Specialist, Public Relations Specialist and Human Resources Manager. For the past six months, JoAnn has served as Senior Training Partner. Now, as the Senior Manager of Store Training, she is excited to take on new responsibilities, such as the management of the Store Training Instructors. JoAnn and her team will perform complex analyses and studies; develop and deliver training programs; and form and lead project teams for the development and implementation of training programs, tools, systems, processes and events. She will help ensure colleagues have the opportunity to receive the training and tools they need to succeed. JoAnn will report to Susan Gilman, Sr. Director, Organizational Effectiveness.

 
Tosha Owens Joins Raley's as Human Resources Manager
With 18 years of human resources experience and knowledge, Tosha Owens joins Raley's as the Human Resources Manager for District 10. While working in management and corporate human resources for Fed Ex National, Safeway and Kaiser Permanente, Tosha gained experience in interviewing and hiring process, employee recruitment and more. In her new role with Raley's, Tosha will oversee employee relations, recruiting and hiring at the stores, and will ensure that company policies are consistently followed. She also plans to obtain a Professional Human Resources Certification. She is thrilled to be working in District 10 and looks forward to working closely with the Store Directors and District Manager Robert Contreras. Tosha strives to be an employee advocate and hopes to provide colleagues with support and resources. Tosha reports to Director of Human Resources, Jerry Landers.

 
Darlene Duff Promoted to District Manager
Darlene Duff began her career with Raley’s in 1983 as a Bookkeeper at Vacaville 344. In 1988, she was promoted to Store Bookkeeper Training Instructor. Then in 1998 she was promoted to a Store Training Supervisor position, training checkers, courtesy clerks and bookkeepers. She was promoted in 2002 to Training Manager. Her next promotion came in 2004 when she moved into Human Resources as a Manager. Now as the District Manager for District Nine, Darlene is energized to support the stores and operations by providing sensational leadership and serving as a coach, teacher and communicator. Adding focus on building customer satisfaction, supporting product quality and merchandising, developing company talent and driving sales growth remain at the top of her list. Darlene reports to Sr. Vice President Store Operations, Kevin Konkel.

 
Mike Gabbert Promoted to Senior Manager, Operations
Beginning his career in 1981, Mike Gabbert has worked in numerous Raley’s stores in a variety of positions. He was promoted to Store Director for Food Source Mack Road 702 in 1998. Mike has spent the last seven years working for Raley’s as a Human Resources Manager. Now as the Senior Manager of Operations he is pleased to be supporting our District Managers, Supervisors and Store Directors to bring the best possible shopping experience for our customers. Mike will oversee projects relating to sales, marketing, merchandising, procurement, supply chain, information services and store operation in support of the company focus and strategic positioning. He reports to Senior Vice President Store Operations, Kevin Konkel.

 
Joey Tobias Joins Raley’s as a Human Resource Manager
Joey Tobias worked in Human Resources as a Personnel Officer for both active duty and reserves in the US Air Force. Once becoming a reservist, Joey went to work for The Target Corporation as a District Human Resources Manager. Now working for Raley’s, he is thrilled to be a Human Resources Manager for all the facilities (Distribution Center, Maintenance, HBC Warehouse, Production Bakery, Product Recovery Center, Central Fill Pharmacy and Distribution Center Freezer) and District 6. Joey looks forward to upholding company standards of performance and efficiency with a focus on succession planning for future growth and stability. He reports to Director of Human Resources, Chris Clark.

 
JoAnna Askew-Hill Joins Raley’s as Payroll/Personnel Manager
We’re excited to welcome JoAnna Hill as Payroll/Personnel Manager. JoAnna comes to us from Kaiser Permanente Hospital where she worked in National Payroll Services. Prior to that she worked 17 years in payroll services, working as both technician and supervisor. JoAnna is enthusiastic about managing and directing payroll and personnel operations. Ensuring all pre-employment and hiring procedures of our new colleagues is handled expediently is one of her top priorities. She also oversees that all are colleagues company wide are paid on time and correctly. JoAnna reports to Senior Manager, HRIS & Payroll, Wendy Campbell.

 
Muoi Hoang Joins Raley’s as Quality Assurance Manager, Private Brands
Muoi Hoang comes to Raley’s from Pacific International Rice Mills, Inc. where she worked in the quality assurance department as a production supervisor. She will be evaluating and enforcing the highest standards for quality as well as managing quality and formulation of new products and assisting in resolving customer inquires and concerns. Among her regular duties, Muoi manages the quality assurance functions such as document management, lab testing and analysis, vendor compliance audits and product cuttings. Muoi looks forward to assisting in new product development, maximizing opportunities for increased sales across all Raley’s Private Brands. She will act as an additional safeguard to ensure that our high standards are met consistently with all our suppliers, new and existing. Muoi will report to Senior Director, Private Brands, Stephanie Cook.

 
LouAnn DeMartini Promoted to Merchant
LouAnn DeMartini started her career with Raley's in 1984 in our Drug Centers. LouAnn worked as a Clerk and then Department Manager before she was promoted to Assistant Store Director. Then in 2001 was promoted to Store Director for Raley's Mack Road 438. She is excited to now be working as Merchant where she will support the stores by securing product at the best prices, approving new items and managing the cosmetic and beauty department category. LouAnn reports to Director General Merchandising, Health and Beauty Care, Bill Roatch.

 
Thomas Lee Joins Raley's as Merchant
With great pleasure, we welcome Thomas Lee to Raley's Merchandising Team. Tom brings 30 years of experience in the Grocery industry with a strong background in both retail and sales. Tom grew up in the grocery business, working in his father's independent store in Willits, California. Tom last worked as Director of Account Sales for Pepperidge Farm. Prior to that, he worked for 2 other California retailers in corporate bakery, corporate brands, category management, advertising, procurement, and international sales. As Merchant, he is excited to be working with our in-store coffee houses, Java City Café and Peet's Coffee. He will provide our customers with a premium coffee experience through monitoring and modifying quality, variety, convenience and service. Tom reports to Vice President, Meal Solutions and Private Brands, Barry Bounds.
